The restaurant chain confirmed Tuesday it has received at least one complaint about the Vancouver location.
"The franchisee is following the lawful process of reviewing the complaint," according to a statement from Chick-fil-A.
"We welcome and respect all people. Our restaurant is designed to be a gathering place for people to enjoy a great experience, whether that's enjoying delicious chicken sandwiches, waffle fries or sweet tea with a smile."
The chain, known for its chicken sandwiches and waffle fries, is widely criticized for its corporate stance against same-sex marriage.
"No matter where you are or who you are, treating every person with respect and dignity is part of the Chick-fil-A culture," said company spokesperson Sandra Tate in the statement.
"We don't make any exceptions. We treat everyone with the upmost respect and we are deeply committed to that."
But this isn't the first time the chain has come under fire for its stance on same-sex marriage.
